 INTRODUCTION

The performance indicators set for a laboratory, whatever the nature of its activities (test laboratory, design laboratory, metrology laboratory...), are tools of interest to operators, who are stimulated by the desire to achieve the objectives set by the said indicators. But the laboratory manager, anxious to demonstrate to his hierarchy the results of progress, or on the contrary, the difficulties, is in demand of performance indicators which, once synthesized, are elements that can be presented to the company's management.

In this fact sheet, we will confine ourselves to performance indicators for metrology laboratories.
