 INTRODUCTION

Knowledge of the particle size distribution of emulsions and suspensions is a key tool for industrial process control, as the size distribution of droplets or particles provides precise information on the condition or quality of the finished product or the product in process. This article presents an on-line optical measurement device for identifying the particle size distribution of emulsions and powders.
