2.1 Vibration level monitoring of indicators (overall levels)

Provided the measures have been taken:

  • or on different frequency bands (for machines running from 1,500 to 3,000 rpm, a low-frequency band from 10 to 120 Hz, a medium-frequency band from 100 to 1,000 Hz and a high-frequency band above 1,000 Hz are generally used);

  • or according to different indicators that are themselves more sensitive to different frequencies. This is the case with many devices that focus solely on the standardized 10/1000 Hz range, enabling the detection of unbalance or looseness, and others that focus on sensor resonance, enabling the detection of bearing spalling,
