4.1 Milking water
Milking animals in special parlors generates two main types of waste.
Green water comes first and foremost from animal waste during stabling and soil washing. This water generally flows into the slurry tank before being spread on the fields.
White water comes from the washing and sanitization of milking equipment, cans and floors... In general, it is not very contaminated, but it does require treatment. This aspect will not be developed here.
