Crude oil
Typical and/or recommended (maximum) values for crude soybean oil quality parameters are :
free fatty acids (FFA): 2 to 3 g oleic acid/100 g ;
phosphatides: 700 to 800 ppm P for crude extracted oil, 200 ppm P maximum for crude degummed oil;
Moisture and volatile matter: 0.15% by mass for extraction crude oil, 0.10% by mass for degummed crude oil;
peroxide value: 5.0 meq/kg max.
