Why submit an environmental authorization application?

Firstly, to provide the Prefect with the information he needs to decide on the application, and secondly, to inform the elected representatives and the surrounding population.

Why produce a summary of the impact study and hazard assessment?

Some members of the Administration do not necessarily need to read the whole file, but only a particular chapter. By reading the summaries, they can get the gist of the file.

How many copies of the file are required?

The regulations stipulate a minimum of 4 copies, plus a file submitted electronically. Additional copies may be requested by the administration.
