6. Identify the hazards associated with the equipment used on your site

In general, all information concerning the equipment used can be obtained from your supplier or the manufacturer.

The device's technical manual includes a description of the equipment and accessories supplied, as well as the safety systems in place. It is also useful to find out about any contraindications to their use.

Electrical materials and equipment also carry a CE marking label, relating to the technical safety rules applicable to them, including information on their specific features (level of protection against explosions, intrinsic safety, temperature, etc.).

Service/maintenance requirements must also be specified by the equipment supplier or manufacturer according to the conditions of use on your site.
