1.1 ICPE administrative regimes

There are three main administrative regimes in the law governing classified installations, and three complementary regimes. These regimes, which derive from the nomenclature of classified installations, depend on the extent of the risks and nuisances to the environment and human health.

Three main systems :

• declaration (D) ;

• registration (E) ;

• authorization (A).

Three supplementary plans:

• declaration with periodic inspection (DC) ;

• Seveso authorization ;

• IED authorization....
