The process of setting up an environmental management system is a time-consuming one, requiring considerable effort in terms of communication and explanation to all personnel concerned by its field of application.
The organization's context, the expectations of interested parties and compliance obligations are all elements that management must take into account when planning and organizing the implementation of its management system (step 1).
The project must be ostentatiously supported by management. Its leadership, both internally and externally, must be unquestionable.
