Residual risk analysis (RRA)

In one case, the ARR, a new situation is created when the use of the site changes, whether it's the requalification of a wasteland into a business or residential zone, or the cessation of an activity... This change of use is at the origin of these modifications, which have been decided and organized with full knowledge of the facts.

In this case, those involved in the change of use of the site have all the controls they need to seek to avoid exposing the population that will benefit from the resulting changes in use, by acting on both the sources and the transfer routes, or by adapting the design of the planned developments to the new uses and the state of the sites, to avoid creating risky situations:

• land disposal/treatment ;

• confinement under impermeable layers ;
