4.1 Include people in MMR only when the operator is trained to react to a situation.
When a human action is valued in an MMR, it is imperative to :
clearly define the nature of the tasks to be carried out ;
limit the number of tasks to be carried out in relation to the time available to complete them;
ensure that operators know exactly what their role will be in the event of an accident;
ensure that the operator is properly trained to act in prevention or mitigation of situations for which he or she is valued as an MMR (in the case of a totally human MMR) or part of an MMR (in the case of a SAMS).
