4. How can the prefect respond?

If the prefect considers that the proposed facility is not included in the nomenclature of classified facilities, or falls under the registration or authorization regime, he notifies the declarant (letter from the prefect).

If the prefect considers that the declaration is irregular or incomplete, he invites the declarant to regularize or complete his declaration (letter from the prefect).

If the declaration is complete and in order, the Prefect will issue a receipt for the declaration and send the declarant a copy of the general requirements applicable to the facility.
