7. Annual declaration for ICPE

Certain facilities are required to report annually to the authorities on the quantities of waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) they produce and the disposal channels used:

• operators of classified facilities subject to authorization producing more than 10 tonnes of hazardous waste per year or more than 2,000 tonnes of non-hazardous waste per year; note that some ICPEs have a lower threshold of 2 tonnes per year for hazardous waste (energy sector, metal production, chemical industry, mineral industry, etc.);

• the operators of waste treatment facilities;

• storage facilities for non-hazardous waste other than inert waste;

• non-hazardous waste incinerators ;

• composting or methanization facilities for non-hazardous...
