Certain rules apply to waste storage:
Waste containers must be labeled, preferably with the waste nomenclature code (see Waste: drawing up an inventory
).[FIC 0784] Hazardous waste may not be mixed with non-hazardous waste (e.g. aerosol cans with paper/cardboard).
Hazardous waste must not be mixed together (e.g. aerosol cans with soiled drums).
Hazardous liquid waste (oils, solvents, etc.) must be stored in watertight...
