3. Interactions between MRP, JIT and TQM

The philosophy behind push-flow systems is to focus on planning to simplify workshop management. The general diagram of the method shows this quite clearly. There are many planning modules for a single workshop management module.

If planning is well carried out (at all levels: SOP, MPS, CBN), then workshop management should be simpler. Shop floor management can be computerized, but if the planning process has been well carried out and the production process is not too complex, it is possible to schedule work on the machines without software. In this case, scheduling will be carried out by setting up a Kanban loop to ensure that workshops operate autonomously according to demand (pull flow).
