4.1 Technological features
The primary characteristic of a diesel gas engine is the way in which combustion is triggered. The aim of the compression phase is to raise the temperature of the oxidizer or oxidizer-fuel mixture above its flammability limit.
The second characteristic of the diesel gas engine is the nature of the fuels used, at least one of which must be gaseous.
