3. Schedule inspection of control and automation devices

Periodic inspection of automation and control systems is mandatory, with the first inspection of existing systems due no later than 1 ^er January 2025. The decree implementing the BACS decree stipulates a five-year frequency for these inspections. In the case of installation or replacement of a BMS (Building Management System) or a technical system linked to the BMS, the frequency will be two years.

The inspection would include:

• a review of the system's functional analysis (for the first inspection) ;

• a check that the system is operating correctly;

• an assessment of compliance with the requirements set out in article R. 175-3 of the
