Léon NOUINDE: Mechanical engineering with energy option - Quality Director at ENSIATE
INTRODUCTION
In France, the building and construction sector is the leading emitter of greenhouse gases, with 145 million tonnes of CO 2 equivalent per year, tied with transport.
As environmental considerations become increasingly important in our daily lives, we're going to focus on the energy-hungry equipment found in most commercial and industrial buildings. We'll list them and, for each case, we'll look at the actions that can be taken to optimize energy performance, enabling energy savings without compromising occupant comfort. We'll then look at the intelligent regulation of all the equipment identified through centralized technical management (CTM) and building management systems (BMS). Finally, a reminder will be given of the obligations of all individuals and legal entities affected by the BACS decree governing the deployment of this innovative technique.
The aim of this practical information sheet is to alert all players in the building sector to the need for innovative management to meet the environmental and societal challenges of the future.
