Léon NOUINDE: Mechanical engineering with energy option - Quality Director at ENSIATE
INTRODUCTION
One of the ways in which we are responding to the public authorities' call for energy efficiency is through the ISO 50001 standard. This international standard was introduced on June 15, 2011 by ISO (the international standards body) and was revised in 2018.
Voluntary in nature, its implementation makes it possible to :
reduce energy bills;
reduce carbon footprint;
gain credibility with stakeholders;
avoid the energy audit imposed on large and medium-sized companies with more than 250 employees every four years.
In the first part of this study, we will describe the process of implementing the standard. The second part will focus on certification. Finally, the study will conclude with the financing of the project.
