Léon NOUINDE: Mechanical engineering with energy option - Quality Director at ENSIATE
INTRODUCTION
Facility Management (FM) is a concept that encompasses a number of sometimes simple, but essential, professions whose aim is to create a working environment that promotes efficiency and user well-being. Our study will be based on this definition, which is not, however, unique.
Companies generally use this service to outsource a number of tasks that are not directly related to their core business. The process is structured around five pillars:
scope of tasks to be outsourced ;
selection of service providers ;
subcontracting ;
project financing ;
user satisfaction survey.
These tasks can contribute in various ways to reducing the energy consumption of devices or buildings used or occupied by users.
