5. Accept the work

This is the final stage of the renovation and is of paramount importance. A thorough inspection with all trades involved and a detailed inventory must precede the acceptance or rejection of the work. In the event of a dispute, any reservations must be noted in the work acceptance report. The instructions for use and/or operation of the new equipment must be obtained. In the case of a maintenance and servicing contract, a copy of the contract must be obtained.
