3.1 Description of the acoustic field in a room
In a room, sound propagates in all directions, and to get from a source point to a listening point, it can take an infinite number of paths.
If the laws of reflection on the walls are similar to the laws of optics, it is possible to identify a number of these paths, and draw up a diagram of the arrival times of the main reflections.
