2. BS 15000 standard

2.1 What is BS 15000?

The first IT service management standard, BS 15000 is a national standard developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI). The scope of this standard is therefore essentially limited to the UK. On the other hand, its structure and content have been "carried" internationally within the ISO framework. It is the forerunner of ISO/CEI 20000.
