The field of cosmetics is a vast one, encompassing products intended for contact with the superficial parts of the body. At the crossroads between cosmetics and dermatology are dermo-cosmetic products. Through their actions on the skin, scalp and hair, they help preserve health and beauty by responding to skin pathologies. Dermo-cosmetic agents are considered to be cosmetic products, and are therefore subject to the same regulations.
