5.1 Use quality tools

QQOQCCP and Est/N'est Pas are very useful tools for characterizing a failure. The 5 Whys will help you identify the root cause(s) of the failure, and cause/effect diagrams will facilitate resolution if the failure is complex. Pareto diagrams and the ABC method will help you prioritize actions.
