5. Inspection on receipt
Quality control and the quality department will play a full role at this stage.
In fact, the characteristics expected and expressed in the order form will be verified during the quality control stage and formalized in a record drawn up by the organization on the basis of specifications taken from stage 1.
In the event of an anomaly, the quality department will then be consulted to determine whether the product can be deviated from or quarantined (for subsequent decision after performance testing with or without adaptation of the process to obtain a compliant final product), or returned to the supplier.
In each case, the supplier will be informed of the anomaly detected and the results of the investigations by the quality department.
