1. Determine the skills and knowledge required
The subject of organizational knowledge, i.e. proven information and knowledge specific to the organization, used and shared to achieve the organization's objectives ( cf. ISO 9001 § 7.1.6) was introduced with the 2015 version of ISO 9001.
This knowledge can be mobilized to express the necessary skills.
Work with business managers to identify and, if necessary, structure the knowledge that is useful and necessary for the organization's various roles and players, and ensure that this knowledge is made available and integrated.
In the same way, business managers should be asked to define the skills required and their associated levels (beginner, trained, confirmed, expert) to ensure that activities and processes function in their operational states.
