6.1 Seek psychological support
In the event of a major accident, remember to seek psychological support from the occupational physician for any employee who needs it (victims, witnesses, people involved, line managers, etc., including temporary workers).
This is not an obligation, but the consequences of such an event can have an impact on the well-being and health of witnesses and responders, if the emotional shock is not expressed.
On your call after a major accident, the Occupational Health Service may request a group debriefing (within 3 to 10 days of the event) by specialized psychologists. Witnesses and responders can attend on a voluntary basis. (Don't hesitate to encourage them to do so.) Those who need it may be offered individual...
