5. What should you do if your activities change?

Any modification to the facility, its mode of use or its surroundings that is likely to result in a significant change to the elements of the initial file (declaration, registration or authorization) must be notified to the prefect with all relevant information before it is carried out.

In the event of substantial modification, the operator must :

  • submit a new environmental authorization application for facilities subject to environmental authorization, followed by a new commissioning procedure;

  • submit a new application for registration or a new declaration for facilities subject to registration or declaration, followed by a new commissioning procedure;

  • keep an up-to-date report on soil pollution at its site when the ICPE is subject to a financial...
