1. Check project compatibility
The first thing you need to do is check that your ICPE project is compatible with the local urban planning document.
You won't be able to obtain an ICPE permit (declaration, registration or environmental authorization) if your installation project is not compatible with the locally applicable town planning rules.
For example, if the local urban development plan stipulates that ICPE activities cannot be set up in part of a municipality's territory because the area is residential, there's no need to take any steps.
