5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't start work too soon

Third parties have two months from the date of issue of the building permit to lodge an appeal. We strongly advise you to allow this period to elapse before starting construction work.

Do not start construction work as soon as the permit has been issued, but wait until at least the close of the public inquiry (i.e. the last day of the public inquiry).

Issuance of the PC and time limit for appeal

General case

The order to issue (or refuse) a building permit is issued by :

  • the mayor of the municipality where the latter has a local urban development plan (PLU) enforceable against third parties;...
