With a minimum of training, an operator can master production changes;
the design of parts must comply with certain rules specific to this technology;
ultrasonic welding remains the fastest and most efficient (95%);
consumables are often unnecessary;
all thermoplastics can be assembled;
other materials can be assembled with a thermoplastic film or foil acting as a "glue" (provided that the materials are all compatible with each other);
all thermoplastic textures can be assembled (with varying degrees of ease and cleverness, but they can be).
