The policy of competitiveness clusters is to focus on achieving concrete economic results.

There are 71 clusters covering a wide range of technical, technological and scientific fields (see the list of clusters on the pôles de compétitivité website).

Since their creation, competitiveness clusters have fostered the emergence of a large number of innovative collaborative projects.

The aim is to transform collaborative R&D work into innovative products, processes and services for the marketplace.
