Product value

Judgment made about the product on the basis of the user's expectations and motivations, expressed as a quantity which increases when, all other things being equal, the satisfaction of the user's need increases and/or the expense associated with the product decreases (NFX 50-150).

Value analysis (VA)

It's a method of organized, creative competitiveness aimed at fully satisfying the needs of the user of a product, process or service, through a specific design or re-design approach that is functional, economical and multi-disciplinary.

Cost

Charge or expense incurred by an economic player as a result of the production or use of a product, or both.
