1. Choose a graphic method

Using a graphic mode, visualize both the service functions (SF) and find the corresponding technical functions (TF); you need to understand the interactions between the product and its use in a specific environment.

1.1 Search by "function tree decomposition" (graphical method)

Organizing service (FS) and technical (FT) functions by levels (or ranks), in the form of a graph, requires functions to be prioritized and linked together.
