Any innovative solution needs to be the subject of an industrial property search. Check with INPI (Institut national de la propriété industrielle) for prior art searches.

In the event of a remarkable innovation in your workgroup, remember to protect the anteriority of the discovery, especially if you wish to apply for a patent. In this case, be sure to send a Soleau envelope with your discovery, thus proving the creation date of your invention.
