5. Knowing the contract

The contract is at the heart of the project. Knowing your contract and its content is one of the commandments of project management.

It is therefore essential for the project manager and his team to fully understand the contract, its structure, scope and the obligations of the parties (customer, builder and third parties).

In general, the bid phase entails numerous exchanges, meetings and agreements, sometimes underlying the contract or not fully reflected in it, and clarification phases with questions and answers may have been handled by the bid teams.

It is therefore essential to ensure an organized and "clean" transfer of all exchanges and decisions made during the offer phase, so that the execution team, which is generally different from the offer team, can have all the necessary information and not find itself...
