3. Be vigilant

Keep in mind that your e-mails are not necessarily read, and that it's better to call in an emergency.

Remember that your message needs to be clear and punchy, with the important points at the beginning of the message.

Avoid mixing up subjects, and be kind to your interlocutor so that he or she enjoys answering you.

Make sure you manage the destination of your e-mails and target those who should reply to you. A multitude of recipients will make the one who should reply feel less guilty, and you run the risk of not reaching your target or of triggering an uncontrollable chain reaction.

In a professional manner, each e-mail should contain the company's official signature and logo.
