6.1 Avoid automatisms: each conflict requires a specific response
Once the cause of the conflict has been identified, actions to minimize its effects on the project (palliative actions) or eliminate its causes (corrective actions) must involve the parties concerned. Handle personal conflicts with sensitivity (especially those which pre-exist the project, and which you must ensure do not impact on team functioning and spirit).
Defuse technical conflicts by seeking compromise.
