4. Progress meetings: plan alternative solutions, review project progress and validate action plans.

4.1 Objective

The purpose of progress meetings is to explore and plan alternative solutions, while visualizing the project's progress:

  • Take stock of the project situation (project status and variance calculations) ;

  • analyze causes of deviation ;

  • propose action plans (correction, adaptation, new alternatives, etc.) to remedy the situation, or even modification requests to be filled in later for decision;

  • plan the remaining work and the continuation (of the phase, and of the project).
