A project management plan is drawn up, along with a schedule that will evolve and iterate throughout the project.
An initial schedule is drawn up and validated, constituting the "base line". It will include the various WBS tasks linked together with defined conditions (start to start, start to finish, staggered start, etc.). Milestones representing the project deliverables will be integrated and linked to the tasks with a project start and end. Milestones corresponding to the payment schedule will be positioned and linked to contract deliverables.
The schedule will be drawn up with each trade representative (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, etc.) to take account of each contract task for the various activities and work packages.
