3. Choose a qualification test (or EN 13067 sub-group)
When you define a qualification test according to EN 13067, the scope of validity of this thermoplastic assembly remains limited to :
assembly material ;
shape (plate, tube or sheet/membrane) ;
the machine used and the welding position;
external conditions (supplier, storage, temperature, gas, etc.).
You must choose a qualification that corresponds in every respect to the welded joint you wish to assess, and certify it according to the criteria below.
To keep to the spirit of the standard, proceed in the following order to select your qualification (the sub-group in the standard):
