8.1 Choose the qualification test according to the area of validity

Qualification tests represent a significant cost per person.

The cost of a qualification depends on :

• inspection location (company, worksite, training center) ;

• the number of welders to be qualified ;

• the number of qualifying events (QS) ;

• the number of laboratory tests to be carried out by the accredited body (depending on the QS chosen).
