2.1 Standard NF EN 13067 December 2012: Plastics welding personnel – Welder qualification test – Thermoplastic welded assemblies

A theoretical and practical assessment is defined to check welders' skills and knowledge.

For the thermoplastics welder, the aim of the practical tests is :

• follow the instructions set out in the welding procedure description (WPM);

• demonstrate an understanding of the principle of thermoplastic welded assembly and the process used;

• demonstrate their skills in practical tests;

• evaluate the quality of its welds through (standardized) laboratory tests.
