4. Implement quality control
Implementing quality control involves monitoring and recording the results of quality-related activities to assess project performance.
It can also be used to make recommendations on necessary improvements.
This process identifies the causes of a lack of quality, and recommends actions to eliminate these causes.
It also validates that deliverables meet project requirements for final acceptance.
Quality control is used during the execution and closing phases of the project to demonstrate that the customer's acceptance criteria have been met.
Prevention avoids process errors, while inspection detects and avoids them.
Tolerances give a range of results and analyze them in relation to accepted control limits.
