2. Gather the information you need to project yourself into the future, and put it in order.

For each theme, the focus will be on :

• technologies (materials, electronics and software, optics, etc.);

• economic trends by sector ;

• societal trends ;

• design methods ;

• processes ;

• regulatory constraints ;

• competition ;

• and other relevant areas linked to the nature of the company's activities.

A brainstorming session will be devoted to the identification and temporal classification (current, CT, MT, LT) of these elements or some of their characteristics, and their timing.
