 INTRODUCTION

During the course of your project, you'll be asked to make regular oral presentations for a variety of occasions. The aim of this sheet is to give you advice on how to prepare and deliver a presentation that is appropriate to the audience and the issue at hand.

As an engineer, you're more at ease with technical presentations at project progress points. On the other hand, a presentation to a steering committee, where decisions have to be made, is less natural to prepare, as it is generally addressed to non-specialists. This fact sheet will help you to prepare such a presentation effectively and avoid some common mistakes.
