2. What should be presented on a steering committee?

A presentation to a steering committee must be effective, since its aim is to define or remind the executive committee of the key issues on which it will have to take a decision, and to provide the elements that will enable the committee to make the necessary decisions.

Quite often, the time allotted to the presentation itself is relatively short: from one to several dozen minutes. It's up to you to design the presentation in such a way as to convey these elements, and to ensure that your audience will assimilate them.

There is no standard presentation template for a steering committee, but we recommend that you include the following points:

  • presentation summary ;

  • a brief outline of the project's overall objectives and the resources allocated to carry it out;...
