5. Our advice

A good presentation can't be improvised. You need to adapt it to the context, and make it as effective as possible by helping your audience assimilate the information you want to convey. A good presentation does not rely solely on the projected medium. On the contrary, it's only a complement to your presentation, to support your speech, guide your audience and leave them with a record of the key information.

As part of a steering committee, you'll have to convey a number of key messages in a limited timeframe, without having the time to develop them all. You'll need to help your executive committee by providing them with supporting documents in advance, so that they have sufficient knowledge of your project and its issues.
