1. Conduct investigations prior to functional analysis

As a general rule, be constantly on the lookout for new technologies in your sector of activity.

Ask your customer about their dream product. Try to detect unexpressed or implied needs. Take note of everything, without judging or analyzing! Discuss the question of the ideal selling price. It's best to have a target price. The consequences are important for future choices and solutions.

For your study, collect all the market data concerning the sector in which you are setting up. Data is available from INSEE, CCI economic chambers, chambers of trade, trade associations, etc.
